We are leaving Lake Ouchiata and headed to Asheville. I’ll be there until Saturday night. Matt has to work both days but I’m glad we will still be together.
This camping trip with my family was just what I needed. They’ll be there until next Thursday but I’m glad we could join in on some of it. I’m thankful Matt got to spend time like that with them before the wedding (115 days).
I told Matt that the vacation woes visit after a trip like that with my family. There’s something about having most of us together feet away from each other for an extended amount of time; I grew up camping and don’t want to imagine life with out it. And with Matt and I’s future plans, vacations like this may be limited for a little while.
*i was pretending to be mad about something silly.
**fitblr is turning personal again
Hope all of you are having great Wednesdays!

Here’s a mid afternoon, bullet point coffee date for you,
-Wedding planning. WOW. I’m thankful that it’s going so smoothly but it’d be a lot easier if Matt and I were in the same city. TODAY MARKS FOUR MONTHS UNTIL WEDDING.
-Paleo is going well. We finish our challenge next Thursday and are going to our favorite restaurant in Asheville on Friday. It’s definitely a treat, especially since we are in super save mode.
-Vacation starts this Friday afternoon. I’m riding to Shreveport, La around 4pm and staying the night there. Saturday morning we make the drive to Lake Ouachita and arrive around lunch time where my family will be camping for the next two weeks. Matt will meet us there Saturday and him and I will make the drive back to his home on Wednesday where I will stay until Saturday night (8/2). To say I’m looking forward to this would be an understatement.
-Matt and I are also going to have morning runs in the camp park. I CAN’T WAIT. Also, we fully intend on staying paleo during this trip as we are both highly motivated to be in our best shapes for marriage.
-During this vacation, at least the camping part, cell reception is going to be low and I have kind of told my self that after Matt gets there, I’m not going to be on my phone much. I’m really tempted to buy a cheaper camera to ensure this.
This post got specific and linky LOL.
B- apples and PB, almonds
L- coffee and water
D- turkey burger and SP fries
"This is my first cabbage! You know, a lot of times they’re kind of soft, but this one is solid! It’s going to be good eatin’!"
"What are you going to make with it?"
"Well, this one I’m giving to my parents. You have to give the first one away or you just spoil the whole spirit of gardening."
exploringkirsty tagged me in this super neat request that is going around.
i feel like all of these pictures give a little glimpse into my personality.
i’m thankful that i’ve gotten to a point where i feel feminine and lovely. that my daily wardrobe doesn’t always have to consist of athletic wear and tennis shoes. i’m thankful that i’m confident with my body (with the exception of my butt bringing sexual attention LOL) and can wear things that flatter me.
the last one has a hint of Matt in it because he ALWAYS makes me feel beautiful.
cheers to this!
The nanny kids were at tennis camp and I went to the gym right down the road. Glad I did. Arms and 2 miles.
I haven’t really felt ready to push like I have today because of healing (the belly button incision has been taking it’s sweet time with healing) and emotional stress (future plans and LDR pains) but today I was ready and I’m so thankful. I’ve got a plan through August and I’m excited to accomplish it.
B- a bar and coffee
L- chicken breast and rice
D- eggs and bacon
