It’s been such a fun weekend. We litterarly had 6 different meetings with everyone involved with the wedding and meeting them all in person is one more step to making this all real.
We have church and his family’s wedding shower this afternoon before my flight back home. And then 20 days until he moves to Houston for 6 weeks before the wedding. CRAZY.
Also, that hooded hunter green jacket will be a fall essential. I fell in love with it this trip. It was a little hot for fall attire in Charleston but I wanted to get in wedding season mood.
Happy Sunday, friends!
-What a busy couple of days. Even thought I felt like I got a GREAT head start on wedding planning, there is always more. I had to hire a calligrapher and reserve parking for our cruise, things that just COME UP out of nowhere. It’s fun, it’s just that life doesn’t stop for wedding planning so you have to coordinate through the normal stuff too.
-Speaking of wedding planning, I fly out tomorrow for our trip to Charleston to meet with all of the vendors and to get our marriage license. We are getting it early because of the non-accomidating time frame when we get there for the wedding. It seems like this distance in between seeing each other this time has been the LONGEST, even though the day count doesn’t it make it so. So much as happened in the past month and I can’t wait to hug Matt.
-Life is good though. I feel healthy and focused. God is still providing in so many ways, keeping my humility in check.
-This ISIS situation has me highly interested in our country’s coming fate. There are so many ways in which it can play out.
I hope all of you are having happy Wednesdays. Today is my Friday, eek!
-I’ve had to order a lot of what we need for the wedding on the internet, so between Matt’s house and mine, the packages keep flowing in. It’s fun to open things and get excited all over again for that day. Today, his day-of-the-wedding gift came in; I can’t wait for him to receive it.
-School is picking up pace and doing so fast. I took a nap today because I wasn’t feeling well but I’m sure it’s one of the last ones I will get for a while.
-Life is really good right now. I feel like I’ve found a good balance and things are coasting along smoothly in all areas; I know this is in no shortage of God’s grace.
-I love rainy days. Rainy hours. They really do make the day better and there have been so many lately. Darker days remind me of fall and fall is my favorite.
I hope all of you are having great Wednesdays.
Body appreciation day?
I am loving my legs and arms. My arms are my super focus point for the wedding (and will always be a concentration area until they’re where they need to be).
Happy Labor Day!
Hope you’re spending it outside, relaxing, or doing what you want. Resisting the candy corn and candy corn pumpkin things at my grandparents.
Hey Friends, still here.
School started this week and I am already feeling the effects of it. I know that the next four months are going to be busy and great and tiring but I’m so ready for it. (I’m going to be a wife!! AHH!)
I have still been checking my dash daily and I am still working out. I even take sweaty pictures to document but never end up documenting. Matt and I have some goals we want to reach and even have a race paid for in October.
I’ve been trying to get as much wedding stuff done as possible lately because I know school is only going to pick up soon. I’m taking 5 classes and I even had to rearrange my honeymoon return flight to accommodate for one of them.
Life is good though and planning is fun.
Hope you can say the same!
Coffee date ? Why, thank you.
- I can’t even begin to explain to you how good God is to Matt and I. His second vehicle sold yesterday and we are so grateful. We also get to finalize our honeymoon on Saturday!
- School starts next Monday and I’m so thankful for this time off.
- I’ve been watching wedding videos lately. They make me so sappy. I cannot wait to be Matt’s wife. 3 months from this Friday!
- Eating and working out are going great too.
Happy Wednesday friends, I hope you’re doing well!
